In 2020, rising Summit High School senior Dennis Eaves from Arlington, Texas, like the rest of the world, had his world turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. This challenging time sparked his decision to pursue writing, showing resilience and determination. Having long considered writing a book, he decided to seize the moment. He sat down at his computer and began writing. Not knowing where it would lead or how his story would unfold, he finally saw his discipline and persistence pay off when Lea Street Press, LLC, published his first book, Zax and the Three Beasts, in January of 2021 while he was a senior in high school. As a freshman at Piedmont Community College, Dennis did it again with the publication of his second book, Zax and Dax, on November 11, 2022. Dennis has definitely made his mark in the sci-fi/fantasy/superhero genre and is, without a doubt, an up-and-coming young author to watch.
